See how far along each one isHow I translate
I translate from the game's original language: Japanese or Korean when that's where the story was written, English when the game was made in English. When English isn't the original, I never translate from it: it's already a translation, and translating it again compounds every drift, so I use it only as a cross-check. Before a single line, the world is studied as a whole (its lore, factions, powers and relationships) so every Arabic term carries the same weight it has in the original. Every line knows who is speaking and to whom, because Arabic marks gender for both, and each character keeps the voice the writers gave them. Every item, skill and menu entry has one Arabic name across the whole game. AI does the work at every step, from research to translation to review, and I direct it: I set the rules, make the calls and check the result. The Arabic has to read like Arabic: idioms are re-created, not copied word for word, in a register that matches the game's other official localizations. And nothing breaks: tags, line breaks and length limits survive, letters shape and join correctly, and I test it all in the actual game, not in a spreadsheet.
