What's translated
The whole game on Steam: 25,542 lines translated from the original Japanese script: story and dialogue (15,714), equipment, skills, units and items (7,527), menus and system text (1,125), quests and summaries (955) and tutorials (221), plus the tutorial pictures and the battle banners, in the Readex Pro font. Arabic is added as an extra language («العربية»); voices and the other languages stay as they are. Built for Steam build 24250053.
How to install
- Close the game.
- Download FFResonance-Arabic-v1.0.5-beta.exe and run it.
- It finds the game on Steam on its own; or pick the FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE folder manually.
- Click the install button.
- Start the game and, in Settings → Language, choose «العربية».
Known issues
- Built for Steam build 24250053; after a game update, wait for a new version.
- While installed, the dialogue window's next arrow sits on the left in every language, the tutorial pictures also show in Arabic in Japanese, and the AMAZING/EXCELLENT/GOOD banners in Japanese and English.
- Tutorial screenshots appear in their English version.
- This is a beta: send a screenshot of any untranslated or overflowing text.
