2,741 lines translated from the original English script: story and dialogue (1,392), weapons, charms, spells, Arcana cards and items (489), menus and system text (354), places and region names (293), tutorials (116) and clues, notes and books (97). Region names on the curved banners and the map read right to left, and the title logo is redrawn by hand in Arabic in the style of the original, on the title screen and in the credits. Alyamama font; the game's layout is not mirrored. Arabic is added as a new language («العربية»); voices and the other languages stay as they are. Built for Steam build 25766122.
How to install
- Close the game.
- Download the installer from Nexus and run it.
- It finds your Steam install on its own; or pick the Castlevania Belmont's Curse folder manually.
- Click the install button.
- Start the game (the first launch takes a minute or two and needs internet once) and, in Settings → Language, choose «العربية».
Known issues
- Built for Steam build 25766122; after a game update, wait for a new version.
- Runs through BepInEx; it works alongside other BepInEx mods, and uninstalling keeps BepInEx if they need it.
- This is a beta: send a screenshot of any untranslated or overflowing text.
